Facilities Engineer – Electromechanical

About the role

The Facilities Engineer – Electromechanical will be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of building electromechanical systems. The role ensures that preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Monitor and oversee electrical, mechanical, ELV and HVAC systems.
• Conduct technical inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot faults and propose corrective actions.
• Lead supervisors, technicians and specialist contractors.
• Track system performance, reliability and compliance with QHSE standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance recommendations.
• Support planning and supervision of technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of facility management experience, preferably on GCC‑size projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and ELV systems.
• Good understanding of Qatar‑specific standards and QHSE requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• QCDD certification and Grade B classification by Kahramaa preferred.
