Facility Coordinator

About the role

The Facility Coordinator leads a maintenance team to ensure preventive and corrective tasks are performed efficiently across the facility. The role involves supervising technical staff, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the team performs assigned maintenance jobs effectively.
• Train staff on maintenance procedures and asset knowledge.
• Oversee timely completion of preventive (PPM) and corrective tasks.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractor visits and work.
• Prepare documentation, permits, and manage authority approvals.
• Monitor spare‑part levels and availability.
• Produce technical reports on defects, breakdowns, and damages.
• Maintain duty rosters and ensure statutory training for all employees.
• Support special projects and liaise with customer managers as directed.
• Prepare audit documentation and comply with HSEQ standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering.
• At least 8 years of maintenance management experience in a comparable facility.
• Strong team‑building, problem‑solving and dispute‑resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS standards.
• Computer literacy.
