Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is a key middle‑management position responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity of hotel operations in Doha. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the role oversees Cost Control and Income Audit functions to protect assets, maximise profitability and ensure accurate revenue reporting across all hotel outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the Cost Control and Income Audit teams, establishing KPIs and daily workflows.
• Ensure compliance with USALI, local tax laws and internal financial controls.
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly cost analysis for Food, Beverage, Operating Supplies & Equipment, and monitor stock movements, storage SOPs and inventory counts.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Director on recipe costing, menu engineering and yield testing to optimise gross profit margins.
• Supervise daily revenue audit processes, reconciling guest charges, PMS and POS balances, and reviewing rate variances, complimentary stays and voided transactions.
• Prepare month‑end cost of sales reconciliations, inventory valuation reports and revenue summaries for senior leadership.
• Assist with financial variance analysis, forecast updates and annual budget preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in hotel finance, cost control and revenue audit.
• Strong knowledge of USALI, local tax regulations and internal financial controls.
