Finance Supervisor - Cash

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Supervisor – Cash to join our finance team in Doha. The role oversees daily cashier operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, reporting and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure cashiers balance daily and generate accurate reports.
• Prepare and transmit bank deposits and reconcile credit‑card payments.
• Collect and lodge cash sales proceeds in accordance with company policy.
• Monitor and control inventory of EBT tags, cash bags, seals and related items.
• Keep cashiers informed of fare changes, promotions, regulations and company policies.
• Handle cash and credit‑card collections for up to 30 million passengers annually.
• Liaise with Duty Managers on shortages and staff salary deductions.
• Provide full cashiering services to all concessionaires.
• Manage soiled note exchange and disposal per finance SOP.
• Resolve pending issues from outgoing supervisor and communicate unposted batches.
• Control, collect and post all manual sales and rotating float amounts.
• Conduct surprise counts of float amounts and ensure proper document handling.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising cashier or finance staff.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling, bank deposits and credit‑card reconciliation.
• Ability to train, develop and discipline team members.
• Familiarity with finance SOPs and balance‑sheet schedule preparation.
• Good understanding of airline regulations, interline agreements and related policies.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and maintain accurate documentation.
