Fixed Installation Desk Advisor

About the role

The Fixed Installation Desk Advisor will support the end‑to‑end rollout of fixed‑line and fibre services across Qatar. You will act as the technical hub between field teams, commercial units and network operations to ensure new buildings, towers and villas are ready for connection within SLA.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse OTDR/LSPM testing reports to verify compliance with budget and technical specifications for FTTX and 5G deployments.
• Coordinate with technology teams to declare sites as Ready‑For‑Service (RFS) and generate technical inventory reports for new customer connections.
• Work with Commercial and Business teams to ensure RFS sites are accurately published on the company website.
• Monitor splitter port utilisation per building, request expansions, and resolve field challenges such as optical power limits or fibre routing issues.
• Upload and track fixed‑line inventory (ONT, CPE, STB, fibre patch cords) and schedule customer appointments.
• Ensure field vendors meet SLA targets, track order failures and drive end‑to‑end fulfilment within 48 hours.
• Manage manual disconnections of QNBN links and coordinate Kahramaa ID acquisition for eligible properties.
• Provide back‑office support, technical troubleshooting and training to field teams, and maintain compliance with Vodafone operational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fixed‑line or fibre network operations.
• Strong knowledge of OTDR/LSPM testing equipment and FTTX/5G service delivery.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage technical inventory.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight SLA constraints.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools for reporting and data analysis.
