About the role
Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions is seeking a Floating Dock Operator to support shipyard operations involving marine vessels and offshore structures. The role requires safe operation and support of floating dock activities. The position is full‑time and permanent, offering a tax‑free monthly salary. The operator will work onsite at the Doha shipyard, handling docking procedures for vessels and offshore structures, and will coordinate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure smooth vessel handling.
Key responsibilities
- Operate floating dock equipment safely.
- Support docking operations for marine vessels and offshore structures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or vocational diploma in a relevant trade.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in ship repair or shipyard environments.
- Specific experience operating floating docks.
- Knowledge of marine safety procedures.
