Food & Beverage Hostess

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Food & Beverage Hostess to join our hotel’s restaurant team in Doha. The role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating operations to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, take dining reservations and enter guest information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the wait list, provide accurate wait times and make seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
• Seat guests, pull out chairs, place menus and ensure each place setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any required items.
• Guide guests to their tables, assist large or special‑needs groups, and monitor dining areas for availability, service and safety.
• Keep work areas clean throughout the shift and adhere to company safety and security policies.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members to meet guest needs and support a collaborative environment.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and other HR activities as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a similar front‑of‑house or host/hostess role.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
