Full Professor – Data and Cyber Security

About the role

The College of Computing and Information Technology at UDST seeks a Full Professor to lead its Data and Cyber Security chair, funded by the National Cyber Security Agency. The role combines teaching, applied research on critical infrastructure security, and service to the university and industry.

Key responsibilities

• Teach one undergraduate course per semester in data and cyber security.
• Conduct applied research focused on critical infrastructure protection.
• Collaborate with NCSA, industry partners, and internal faculty to develop strategic initiatives and workshops.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects.
• Contribute to departmental service and curriculum development.

Required profile

• PhD in Cyber‑Security or a closely related field from an internationally recognized university.
• At least 10 years of teaching and research experience in higher education.
• Preferably 5 years of professional experience in critical infrastructure security.
• Distinguished research record with high‑impact publications.
• Proven track record of supervising research students.
