General Wireline Field Specialist

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a General Wireline Field Specialist to provide wellsite support and technical guidance to global customers. You will work on offshore and rig‑less operations, applying the latest digital tools to solve complex well‑completion challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day wellsite activities with minimal supervision, following detailed instructions.
• Evaluate completed work to confirm that objectives and quality standards are met.
• Assist with completions logging and related services both at the workshop and on‑site.
• Carry out minor equipment maintenance and support actuating of completions equipment.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, legal requirements, and company core values.
• Execute responsibilities safely according to equipment and logistics manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Wireline Services.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes equipment or projects.
• Offshore experience preferred; rig‑less exposure is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with both open‑hole and cased‑hole operations.
• Relevant industry knowledge and product‑line training.
