About the role

The Head Barista leads the coffee service team at our Sheraton location on Al Corniche Street, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time position combines hands‑on barista duties with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Record all transactions in the MICROS POS system and generate accurate closing reports.
• Manage cash handling, perform end‑of‑shift counts, resolve discrepancies, and transport the bank safely.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee coaching.
• Uphold safety, security, and company policies, reporting incidents promptly.
• Deliver courteous, professional service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
