HR Business Partner – Retail (Qatar)

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior line management, shaping and executing HR strategies that support robust growth for the retail business in Qatar. The role focuses on building a performance‑driven culture, ensuring compliance, and driving talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business MD, GM HR and Group HR Director to create and communicate the HR strategy and annual HR plan for the store.
• Lead induction, succession planning, retention strategies and learning & development initiatives for key talent.
• Design and implement performance management processes, training programs, and compliance controls.
• Ensure adherence to Group HR policies, local laws, DOA governance, and Emiritization targets.
• Partner with senior managers to coach, advise, and improve employee engagement across business units.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising senior management on HR matters.
• Strong understanding of HR strategy, talent management, and performance management.
• Ability to develop and execute succession and retention plans.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and local labor regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
