ICT/Cybersecurity Engineer – Network & Security Projects

About the role

We are looking for an ICT/Cybersecurity Engineer to support the planning, deployment, testing and documentation of network and security solutions across multiple sites in Doha. The role combines hands‑on field work with office‑based coordination, requiring close collaboration with senior engineers and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the ICT team in planning, deployment, commissioning and testing of network/security equipment.
• Conduct site visits to support IT and cybersecurity activities and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and internal teams during project execution and on‑site works.
• Support network connectivity testing, device configuration, and cybersecurity compliance verification.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, including configuration sheets, test reports, as‑built drawings and asset inventories.
• Assist with basic security configurations and hardening such as firewall policies and user access control.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, acceptance testing and hand‑over documentation.
• Provide technical support during project rollout, integration and operational transition.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with network devices (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP, Aruba).
• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN and NAT.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and best practices.
• Willingness to travel on‑site up to 70% of the time within Doha.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with network drawings, labeling and documentation standards.
