IT Manager – Airport Operations Support

About the role

The IT Manager for Airport Operations Support will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of mission‑critical airport systems in a 24/7 environment. You will own end‑to‑end service management, ensuring high availability, stability, performance and security while guiding a team of support professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of Airport Operations systems, meeting defined SLAs and performance targets.
• Lead incident, major incident and problem management, performing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage change, release and configuration processes to minimise disruption.
• Oversee integrations, patches, minor enhancements and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor service KPIs (availability, MTTR, backlog, user satisfaction) and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure smooth transition of new solutions into business‑as‑usual support, including documentation and training.
• Maintain compliance with IT Service Management (ISO 20000) and Information Security (ISO 27001) frameworks.
• Coordinate disaster recovery, business continuity testing and cybersecurity activities.
• Lead, coach and develop a 24/7 support team, setting priorities aligned with business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of IT application/platform support experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams and delivering large IT programmes.
• Experience with airport systems such as AODB, BHS or terminal operations platforms.
• Proven ability to work in 24/7 operational environments.
