IT Security Manager – International (Qatarization)

About the role

The incumbent will support the Senior Vice President of IT Security International in overseeing and governing information security across QNB Group subsidiaries and international branches. This role focuses on ensuring consistent application of the Group’s security policies, standards and practices while fostering strong collaboration with business and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the QNB Group Information Security Framework, including policies, procedures and standards.
• Develop and maintain a methodology and KPI/KRI set to monitor control effectiveness and security posture.
• Provide inputs for the Information Security Strategy and help present it to senior governance bodies.
• Conduct risk assessments and promote efficient communication between IT security functions and business areas such as Corporate Banking, Treasury, Retail, and Wealth Management.
• Support the creation of a strong control culture and raise awareness of risk management across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT security governance, risk assessment and policy implementation.
• Ability to work closely with senior security leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to develop metrics and evaluate security effectiveness.
