Junior Fire Alarm Engineer (UPDA Trainee)

About the role

The Junior Fire Alarm Engineer (UPDA Trainee) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Doha. You will support the design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm and related fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers during site surveys and system design.
• Prepare basic technical documentation, reports and as‑built drawings.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot system issues and help resolve faults.
• Participate in routine inspections and verify system functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and contribute to continuous improvement of safety and quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Fire Protection Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of NFPA standards and Qatar Civil Defense regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work safely on‑site in a team‑oriented environment.
