Kitchen Chef

About the role

The Kitchen Chef will lead and manage all food production activities at Azadea Foundation’s kitchen in Doha, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene and cost efficiency. This full‑time role combines hands‑on cooking with team leadership, inventory control and menu development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and research new product ideas to support sales targets.
• Train kitchen staff on pastry techniques and hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with company and HACCP standards and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare menu items according to brand recipes, maintaining image and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise food production, uphold quality and hygiene, and continuously improve operational performance.
• Manage costing of all food items, oversee storage and receipt of supplies.
• Implement waste‑reduction measures and control food and labor costs.
• Monitor monthly inventory, adjust discrepancies and enforce control measures.
• Create weekly work schedules for kitchen personnel in line with staffing guidelines and labor cost forecasts.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management.
• 3‑4 years of experience in F&B operations, including at least one year in a similar chef‑lead role.
• Fluency in English.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
