Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

Join the engineering team at a luxury hotel in Doha, providing essential maintenance for both kitchen and laundry operations. You will ensure equipment runs efficiently, supporting the hotel’s high standards of service and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and related systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders to minimise downtime.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, organised and in good condition.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives by identifying maintenance improvements and efficient operating practices.
• Follow all health, safety and hotel engineering standards while performing repairs.
• Collaborate closely with Kitchen and Laundry teams to resolve technical issues.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned, contributing as a reliable team player.

Required profile

• Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining commercial laundry equipment.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lb (23 kg) with frequent bending, walking and standing.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
