Laundry Assistant II – Talent Pool

About the role

The Laundry Assistant II supports Qatar Airways’ cargo and airport operations by handling linen products for flights. You will load, off‑load and sort linen, ensuring hygiene standards and safety throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Receive job allocation and instructions from the Team Leader or Uniform and Linen Agent.
• Load, off‑load and sort linen products according to flight schedules and galley loading plans.
• Coordinate a small team of Laundry Helpers and agency staff to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas to prevent foreign object debris (FOD).
• Report any stained or damaged linen discovered during the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures and uphold personal and equipment hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Entry‑level candidate with no prior related work experience required.
• Strong spoken and written English communication abilities.
• Familiarity with airline‑specific linen and related products is advantageous.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
