Lead Cargo Digital Marketing & Communications Officer

About the role

The Lead Cargo Digital Marketing & Communications Officer will develop and execute digital marketing communications for Cargo, driving awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth. This role oversees all core digital communication channels and partners with internal teams to modernise the Cargo brand online.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core digital communication vehicles (email campaigns, e‑newsletters, brochures, social media, online advertising) to ensure seamless customer communications.
• Execute the online marketing strategy to support Cargo’s digitalisation and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with IT and Cargo Automation teams to redesign the Cargo website, aligning it with qr.com and improving customer friendliness.
• Review and enhance internal bulletins and external marketing assets to boost engagement.
• Design and deliver promotional campaigns that drive measurable incremental revenue across the network.
• Work with E‑commerce, QR Marketing and Corporate Communications to leverage shared assets for joint initiatives.
• Support event organisation, including giveaways, e‑invites and stand design, to enhance customer experience.
• Produce and send customer e‑newsletters, reducing paper‑based communication costs.
• Build infrastructure aiming for 100 % online customer interaction with Cargo.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with new projects and ensure marketing systems operate optimally.
• Analyse campaign performance, prepare monthly reports and share KPI results with the business.
• Implement new communication channels using latest technologies to stay competitive.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to assess communication impact and adjust strategies.
• Launch a multilingual website and communications programme to improve global customer friendliness.
• Execute social‑media campaigns to raise QR Cargo awareness, increase conversions, and monitor related content.
