Lead Cost Manager

About the role

Base Careers is expanding its pipeline of infrastructure and real‑estate projects in Doha, Qatar. We are seeking an experienced Lead Cost Manager to oversee pre‑ and post‑contract quantity surveying, cost planning and procurement activities across large‑scale developments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies and procurement reports.
• Manage tendering processes, including pre‑qualification, tender list preparation, preliminaries, tender analysis and compilation of contractual documents.
• Administer contracts, handle variations, final accounts and post‑contract cost variance control.
• Produce monthly cost reports and present them to clients.
• Lead and mentor a cost‑management team to ensure accurate cost checks and valuations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10‑15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional cost consultancy.
• BSc in a related subject or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in real‑estate or infrastructure sectors.
