Lead Structural Engineer

About the role

The Lead Structural Engineer will head the structural and foundation design effort for a variety of building projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with regulations. This senior position involves mentoring the engineering team, coordinating with architects and MEP disciplines, and driving innovative, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full structural design process, from concept through detailed calculations and drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the structural engineering team.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements.
• Perform advanced structural analysis using software tools to assess stability under diverse loading conditions.
• Review and approve structural drawings, specifications and construction documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and coordination of engineering tasks.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to resolve technical issues and verify compliance with design intent.
• Recommend innovative structural solutions to improve performance, cost efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience with building, heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
