Lead Technical Architect

About the role

As the Lead Technical Architect you will be the enterprise technical authority for integrating Oracle Fusion with Qatar Airways' in‑house applications. You will define the target‑state integration architecture and guide a large‑scale, mission‑critical transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the end‑to‑end technical blueprint for Oracle Fusion integration, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, security and operational excellence.
• Lead the design of resilient, scalable, secure and auditable integration solutions using Solace, Red Hat App Foundation, Apache Camel, Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs and event‑driven patterns.
• Establish enterprise integration standards covering publish/subscribe, request/reply, saga, outbox/inbox, service orchestration, message transformation, canonical data models, topic hierarchy, event schemas, routing rules, versioning and payload governance.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and assurance for architecture documents, high‑level designs, interface specifications, non‑functional requirements and production‑readiness artefacts.
• Govern the use of Solace and Red Hat App Foundation as strategic integration platforms, ensuring consistent configuration, operational controls and implementation patterns.
• Lead architecture, design and code reviews and technical governance forums to enforce compliance with approved standards and security controls.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in enterprise integration architecture and large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to define technical blueprints, set standards and mentor architects and delivery teams.
• Strong governance mindset and experience influencing technology decisions across a large organization.
