Learning Management Systems Specialist

About the role

The Learning Management Systems Specialist will oversee the daily operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of our LMS platform. You will work closely with training teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure a seamless learning experience for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for course managers, coordinators, and trainers to ensure proficient use of the LMS.
• Monitor and control daily LMS operations, including data migration and record updates.
• Create and manage course structures, offerings, and class schedules for various departments.
• Develop and maintain business requirement documents, functional specifications, SOPs, and user manuals.
• Validate pre‑ and post‑course data and generate monthly training statistics reports.
• Design hierarchy and category structures for user departments within the system.
• Collaborate with the IT development team on system enhancements, prototype pages, and upgrade impact analyses.
• Write and modify SQL queries to extract required data for business units.
• Maintain documentation of development and enhancement phases using SharePoint and Version Control System (VSS).
• Coordinate eLearning course uploads, testing, and troubleshooting during development phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and training users on Learning Management Systems in a global enterprise.
• At least 2 years of direct experience implementing, deploying, and supporting LMS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of current learning technologies and e‑learning standards.

Required skills

• SQL query development and data extraction.
• SharePoint for documentation management.
• Version Control System (VSS) usage.
• LMS administration and configuration.
