Litigation Senior Associate

About the role

An established legal practice in Doha is seeking a Litigation Senior Associate to join its disputes team. The role is ideal for a seasoned lawyer with strong contentious and pre‑contentious experience and a proven track record in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Handle multiple contentious matters independently, drafting pleadings, briefs, statements, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal advice, strategies and memoranda, delivering commercially focused solutions to clients.
• Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, court proceedings and other dispute‑related activities.
• Lead and supervise associates, trainees, legal researchers and paralegals, ensuring high‑quality output.
• Develop client relationships, contribute to business development, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice with strong general litigation exposure.
• Essential Middle East experience; GCC court experience is an advantage.
• Native Arabic speaker with a good command of English and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated advocacy skills across both pre‑contentious and contentious matters.
• Leadership experience, capable of supervising junior lawyers and managing competing priorities under pressure.
