Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at our conference centre in Doha. Working full‑time on‑site, you will patrol all areas, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the entire property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, defuse conflicts, and call for external assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts, and conduct investigations.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements where applicable.
