Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to support guest services at our Lusail facility. The role involves responding quickly to repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment and areas remain safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot air‑conditioning, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Carry out minor repairs such as painting, drywall, wood trim, light‑bulb and filter replacement.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves and utility controls.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any repair work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler maintenance.
• Program televisions and update air‑handler schedules via computer.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and carpentry.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks safely.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills and adherence to safety policies.
