Manager Hotels Business Support

About the role

In this position you will support day‑to‑day hotel operations from the owner’s perspective, assisting the Director of Operations throughout the acquisition process and ongoing management. You will conduct research on potential hotel assets, prepare reports, and help review contractual documents to protect the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and conduct research on hotel leads, covering brand recognition, location, inventory, guest satisfaction, services, facilities, competitors and create SWOT analyses when needed.
• Review hospitality management contracts and highlight any risks for the company as a potential new owner.
• Provide strategic and analytical support for investment decisions, project management and post‑investment analysis within agreed timescales.
• Capture and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning to deliver competitive advantage.
• Monitor and optimise investment of owners’ account balances.
• Review existing projects, flag risks and opportunities, and ensure corrective actions keep projects aligned with approved benefits.
• Ensure compliance with tax, insurance, legal and statutory requirements.
• Manage, track and report on multiple projects (acquisitions, operations, holding‑company setup) and coordinate activities with internal and external teams.
• Draft board meeting agendas, issue minutes, track action items and escalate issues for resolution.
• Track management fee structures, ensure invoice approval and payment, and report on any variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; qualification in Business Administration, Finance or Project Management preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in asset management, project management or hotel operations.
• Strong analytical, contractual and financial review skills.
