About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for our luxury resort in Lusail, Qatar. In this pivotal role you will elevate our brand presence, drive business growth, and collaborate across departments to craft compelling narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing communications strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market opportunities.
• Create and oversee the execution of annual marketing communications plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and departmental budgets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth.
• Build and nurture relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry contacts through regular engagement and strategic outreach.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and feature articles to maximize visibility and positive coverage.
• Coordinate media interviews, site visits for journalists, and manage crisis communications protocols.
• Oversee the creation of high‑quality written and visual content for marketing materials, website, social media, and internal communications.
• Manage and optimize social media presence across multiple platforms and develop digital marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate email marketing initiatives and stay current with emerging digital marketing trends.
• Recruit, select, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing and communications within the hospitality or luxury sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable plans.
• High level of professionalism, transparency, and ability to manage crisis situations.
