Materials Inspector

About the role

KEO is seeking a Materials Inspector to join its Doha team. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction materials and works meet contract specifications, local codes, and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and act promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, and statutory requirements.
• Report any non‑conforming works to stakeholders for corrective action.
• Monitor quality, safety, health and environmental compliance on site, referencing QCS specifications and risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress photos, for inspection readiness.
• Prepare surveillance reports and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Coordinate effectively between disciplines and resolve technical issues on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material inspection or related construction roles.
• Familiarity with Qatar PWA RPD infrastructure standards and QCS specifications.
