Middleware Administrator – DevOps Platform Engineer

About the role

The Middleware Administrator will act as a DevOps Platform Engineer responsible for managing Solace PubSub+ messaging and Red Hat integration components that connect Oracle Fusion with QR systems in a hybrid cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Solace PubSub+ topics, queues, VPNs, and Apache Camel routes.
• Implement high‑availability and disaster‑recovery strategies, securing communications with OAuth2, mTLS and RBAC.
• Monitor performance and reliability through dashboards, logging, tracing and observability tools.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, applying resilience patterns such as retries and dead‑letter queues.
• Design, develop and optimise integration flows while enforcing naming and versioning governance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with Oracle Fusion teams to define API contracts and support SIT/UAT testing.
• Ensure compliance, reliability and operational readiness across on‑premise and cloud platforms.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in DevOps, middleware administration or integration engineering.
• Strong background in cloud and distributed systems integration.
• Proven ability to work in hybrid environments and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
