Multi‑Technician

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Multi‑Technician to join the engineering team at Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance, repair and troubleshooting activities throughout the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule.
• Attend to maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly, especially in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct basic electrical repairs, including lighting, switches, sockets and other fixtures.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs such as leaking taps, pipes, toilets and drains.
• Carry out basic HVAC inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance where required.
• Undertake minor carpentry, painting, tiling and general building repairs.
• Inspect equipment, machinery and facilities and report any defects or potential problems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and property procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report outstanding issues to the supervisor.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and breakdowns as needed.
• Coordinate with other engineering team members and departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment and supplies in good condition.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to address emergencies.
