Network Administrator & DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator & DevOps Engineer to join our team in Doha. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure while driving automation and cloud initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security; respond to alerts and incidents.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency, bandwidth, routing, and switching issues.
• Configure, maintain, upgrade and harden network devices (Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate, etc.).
• Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and other security solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, focusing on availability, scalability and security.
• Deploy, scale and monitor Kubernetes resources, including pods, services, deployments and persistent volumes.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible and related tools.
• Automate configuration management with Puppet, Chef or SaltStack.
• Support disaster‑recovery procedures and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and best‑practice guides.

Required profile

• 7‑8+ years of experience in network engineering, DevOps or related NOC roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
