Officer – Social Media Content Developer

About the role

A governmental entity is searching for an Officer – Social Media Content Developer who will manage its social media presence. The ideal candidate will develop and implement social media content to boost online visibility and support marketing, communication, and attraction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Shoot high‑quality videos and photos, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Edit videos using advanced tools, adding effects, music, and captions.
• Create graphics, infographics, and thumbnails with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
• Track industry trends and platform updates to keep the brand relevant.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with brand strategy.
• Maintain filming and photography equipment for ready use.
• Measure and report on channel performance, engagement rates, video completion, and other key metrics using platform analytics and third‑party tools such as Sprout Social.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in social media marketing, public relations, or communications.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Experience in the public sector is preferable.
