Operation Helper – Forklift & Bobcat Licensed

About the role

We are looking for an Operation Helper to support daily plant operations at our facility in Doha. The role involves assisting control room operators, performing routine inspections, and handling material with forklift and bobcat licenses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist control room operators in start‑up, shutdown and normal running of plant units.
• Operate basic equipment such as pumps, valves and filters under supervision.
• Conduct field checks on reverse‑osmosis trains, intake and post‑treatment systems.
• Perform routine patrols, inspect pumps, pipelines, tanks and report any leaks or abnormal conditions.
• Take operational readings (flow, pressure, level, conductivity, pH) and record data in log sheets or SCADA.
• Collect water samples for laboratory analysis and assist with on‑site testing.
• Support maintenance team during repairs, cleaning of equipment and minor mechanical tasks.
• Assist in safe handling, dilution and dosing of treatment chemicals, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant areas, support waste management and perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence with at least 3 years of material‑handling experience.
• Valid bobcat/skid‑steer licence with at least 3 years of operating experience.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for manual handling and site work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
• Basic understanding of plant equipment and willingness to learn on the job.
