Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will manage holiday bookings and ensure the highest level of customer service for travel packages. You will handle customer inquiries, provide accurate quotations, process visa applications and issue documentation, supporting the senior operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to all customer inquiries according to booking and service processes and agreed time frames.
• Maintain prompt communication with customers to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Achieve above‑average productivity in handling booking files.
• Prepare holiday quotations with clear information on inclusions, exclusions, terms and conditions.
• Utilise the online booking engine or offline templates as required.
• Benchmark supplier prices and availability while costing.
• Follow up with customers to obtain acceptance of quotations.
• Submit visa applications for Doha bookings when required and deliver approved visas to customers in advance.
• Issue travel documentation after full payment is received.
• Train and coach Senior Operations Agents to handle their responsibilities effectively.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in holiday/tour operations, preferably within an airline, travel agency or tour operator.
• Proven ability to sell holiday packages, provide accurate information, and manage reservations and final documentation.
• Strong communication skills and solid knowledge of the leisure travel market, destinations and GCC trends.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
