Operations Officer – Financial Transactions Management

About the role

The Operations Officer will oversee the end‑to‑end processing of financial transactions and related documents, ensuring compliance with established policies and timely execution. This role focuses on cheque clearing, collections, remittances, salary runs, standing orders and financial postings within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and verify the complete processing cycle of financial transactions.
• Ensure all activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, agreed turnaround times and cut‑off schedules.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, redesign workflows and re‑engineer processes to improve resource utilization.
• Implement controls to reduce errors, rework and enhance service quality for internal and external customers.
• Prepare and review reports on transaction volumes, processing times and compliance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Experience in financial operations or transaction processing preferred.
