Operations Supervisor – Facilities Management

About the role

The Operations Supervisor leads a team of Technical Officers and Technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance of facility assets. The role ensures smooth shift hand‑overs, reports equipment faults to senior engineers, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and train the maintenance team to perform assigned jobs, ensuring correct knowledge of assets and installations.
• Execute and monitor preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules, and complete corrective tasks promptly.
• Assist subcontractors, oversee work quality, and report defects, breakdowns, and spare‑part needs to engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSEQ) standards, including permits, PPE, and statutory training.
• Produce and maintain Method Statements (MS), Risk Assessments (RA), and COSHH documentation, and report observations to the HSEQ department.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience in a comparable facility.
• Strong knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS, and COSHH.
• Proven team‑building, problem‑solving, and dispute‑resolution abilities.
