Oracle SCM Functional Consultant (Qatar)

About the role

The Oracle SCM Functional Consultant will provide functional support for Oracle E‑Business Suite supply‑chain modules to business users in Qatar. The role focuses on incident management, troubleshooting, and delivering functional solutions across a range of SCM processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS SCM modules including Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, iProcurement, Bills of Material, Work in Process, Cost Management and Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
• Manage incidents, service requests and tickets, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, performing root‑cause analysis when required.
• Handle the full ticket lifecycle: prioritisation, progress updates, resolution and closure.
• Liaise with business users to understand issues and requirements, offering functional solutions or work‑arounds.
• Coordinate with technical and other functional teams to resolve complex or cross‑functional issues.
• Support minor enhancements, configuration changes and change requests within the managed service scope.
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, known errors and functional knowledge.
• Identify recurring issues and propose service‑improvement actions.
• Participate in service review meetings, reporting ticket status, SLA performance, risks and key issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering functional support for Oracle EBS SCM modules.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain processes such as inventory, purchasing, order management and production planning.
• Ability to manage incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Excellent analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Effective communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.

• Ticketing/incident‑management processes.
