Organizational Design Lead

About the role

The Organizational Design Lead will drive workforce planning and organization design initiatives that align HBKU's manpower, structure, and resources with its strategic objectives. This senior HR role ensures data‑driven decisions, optimal manpower utilization, and sustainable organizational structures across all university units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual manpower budgeting process, collecting, validating, and presenting data in line with HR and Finance strategies.
• Collaborate with HR focal points and business leaders to develop annual and long‑term workforce plans supporting strategic goals.
• Provide expert, data‑based advice on headcount planning, budget allocation, and manpower utilization analytics.
• Assess unbudgeted and additional headcount requests through justification analyses.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for organizational design and workforce planning.
• Monitor and refine workforce planning processes to improve efficiency and adapt to changing needs.
• Facilitate quarterly staff cost forecasts and validate rationales for organizational changes.
• Design and implement organization development initiatives such as restructuring and job redesign.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience specializing in organizational design and workforce planning.
• Hands‑on experience with job evaluation systems and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of organizational design principles and workforce planning methodologies.
