Pharmacology Faculty – Medical School

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacology Faculty member to join our medical school in Qatar. The successful candidate will contribute to the integrated Foundational Sciences curriculum and clerkships, supporting student learning in a culturally diverse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pharmacology instruction across the four‑year medical curriculum.
• Teach integrated foundational sciences using diverse pedagogical approaches.
• Mentor and advise medical students, fostering their professional growth.
• Engage in basic science, translational, or educational research with local and international collaborators.
• Contribute to publications, presentations, and grant‑funded projects.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (M.D., Ph.D., PharmD, M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent).
• Record of excellence in teaching and scholarship.
• Experience teaching pharmacology and systems pharmacology in a medical curriculum.
• Minimum three years of significant teaching experience, preferably in North America.
• Interest in medical education research and administrative teaching roles.
