Physiotherapist – Qatar Healthcare Provider

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Qatar, is expanding its rehabilitation services following the post‑World Cup infrastructure legacy. They are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering musculoskeletal, sports medicine, neurological and general rehabilitation care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands‑on treatment across inpatient and/or outpatient settings, including manual therapy, exercise prescription and modality‑based techniques.
• Document clinical notes accurately and promptly in line with DHP/QCHP standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, sports medicine specialists and other team members.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, home exercise programmes and self‑management strategies.
• Participate in quality‑assurance, audit activities and continuous professional development.
• Adhere to clinical governance, infection‑control and health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Recognised BSc or MSc degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification clinical experience.
• Successful licensing with Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), including DataFlow PSV and the Qatar‑specific Prometric physiotherapy exam.
• Current Certificate of Good Standing from the most recent regulatory body.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Manual therapy techniques.
• Exercise prescription and programme design.
• Use of therapeutic modalities (e.g., electro‑therapy, ultrasound).
• Clinical documentation compliant with DHP/QCHP standards.
