About the role
Jerry Varghese Consultancy is seeking a Piping Supervisor to lead the piping shutdown activities on an oil & gas project in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on coordinating work crews, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering the shutdown on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise all piping installation, maintenance and shutdown tasks on site.
- Coordinate and schedule work crews, subcontractors and material deliveries.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Inspect work progress and quality, reporting any deviations to the project manager.
- Maintain accurate records of work activities, permits and daily reports.
Required profile
- Minimum diploma or technical qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in oil & gas or shutdown projects, specifically supervising piping activities.
- Proven ability to lead site teams and manage work schedules.
- Strong knowledge of piping installation, maintenance and shutdown procedures.
