Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Doha and support the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing executive‑level reporting to ensure timely and cost‑effective project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against baseline programmes and update stakeholders.
• Produce executive dashboards and progress reports for senior management.
• Forecast project completion dates and identify schedule risks.
• Support project controls and capital investment planning activities.
• Coordinate schedule reviews with project stakeholders and contractors.
• Prepare delay analysis and recovery programmes.
• Monitor contractor performance and reporting compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of planning experience on major infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Advanced experience with Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to produce executive‑level reports.
• Knowledge of project controls and scheduling best practices.
