Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

About the role

West Bay Medicare is seeking a full‑time Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join its day‑case surgical unit in Doha. The successful candidate will deliver a broad range of elective and urgent plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic procedures while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, obtain informed consent, and develop surgical plans.
• Perform plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries in a day‑case setting.
• Provide post‑operative follow‑up, manage complications, and ensure comprehensive patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate medical records, and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Valid license or eligibility to practice in Qatar.
• Strong foundation in general medicine and surgery.
• Experience in day‑case or ambulatory surgery environments.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care.
