PMO Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The PMO Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst will design, build and maintain integrated reporting solutions for the Project Management Office. Working closely with on‑site project and planning teams, you will automate data collection, improve data quality and deliver actionable insights to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations for PMO and senior management.
• Build robust data models and reporting structures, moving beyond static datasets.
• Extract, transform and integrate data from Primavera P6, SAP, Excel and other project systems.
• Create automated data pipelines to minimise manual data collection and consolidation.
• Use SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, validation and analysis.
• Establish data‑validation and quality‑control processes to detect inconsistencies and delays.
• Collaborate with planning engineers, project managers, IT, finance and other stakeholders to ensure reliable, integrated reporting.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and address underlying process or system gaps.
• Continuously improve PMO reporting processes, data governance and business‑intelligence capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.
• Proven ability to design data models, ETL processes and visualisations.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Practical experience using Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience integrating data from Primavera P6 and SAP or similar ERP/project‑management systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
