Primary Teacher

About the role

The Primary Teacher position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Doha, Qatar. You will plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons, create engaging learning activities, and manage classroom routines to support the development of primary‑aged learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum‑aligned lesson plans.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum implementation.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student performance.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Foster an inclusive, positive school culture.

Required profile

• Strong background in teaching and elementary education.
• Experience in curriculum development and adapting learning materials.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
• Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous experience in an international or multicultural school environment (preferred).
• Ability to create inclusive, student‑centered classrooms that promote wellbeing and academic growth.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to school policies.
