Primary Teacher

About the role

The school seeks a Primary Teacher to plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences for primary students, supporting their academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe, inclusive and engaging environment. The role implements the school curriculum in line with the school's mission, vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic program, ensuring effective delivery of the curriculum and student-centered teaching
• Analyze academic results and set up continuous improvement plans
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team; lead pedagogical meetings and help recruit and induct new teachers
• Monitor students' academic, social and emotional progress, support students with specific learning needs and coordinate behaviour management and wellbeing
• Maintain timely communication with parents, take part in parent meetings and follow up on concerns
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license as required by local regulations
• At least X years of teaching experience in primary education
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity and inclusion, and to continuous professional development

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Sound knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
• Effective communication, planning, organization and assessment skills
