About the role

A private family in Qatar is looking for an experienced UK‑qualified English teacher to provide one‑to‑one tuition for their children aged 6‑12. The role focuses on developing reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and confident spoken English.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalised English lessons aligned with each child’s learning style.
• Assess progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Support the development of literacy and communication skills across all key areas.
• Maintain a professional, discreet and organised learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of teaching experience, preferably with children 6‑12.
• Bachelor’s degree (English, Education or related field).
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong references and successful background checks.
