Product Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Product Specialist to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our customer‑facing mobile money application, merchant interfaces, and back‑office tools. You will shape the digital product vision, create roadmaps that meet current business needs, and position the product for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle for mobile money and related platforms.
• Define and execute digital product vision and strategic roadmaps.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure platform performance, oversee upgrades, and implement modifications.
• Champion the customer experience, ensuring a differentiated journey.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve user experience.
• Own product budgeting and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B or B2C product delivery experience.
• Experience in mobile financial services or banking is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, especially translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver product strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Effective budget ownership and vendor management experience.
