Project Cost Control Specialist

About the role

Azadea Group is looking for a Project Cost Control Specialist to support cost control and budgeting on fit-out construction projects. The role covers tender and contract document preparation, bid analysis, variation order evaluation, site investigation for estimating and functional supervision of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant parties to prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities; analyze bids, establish unit rates and finalize tenders.
• Evaluate variation orders and extra work and assist in budget preparation.
• Prepare cost analyses for work items in Fit Out Construction, with precise estimation for finishing and fit-out projects.
• Identify, analyze and formulate responses to commercial risks.
• Attend pre-tender meetings, submit regular reports and run pre-tender and post-tender budget evaluations.
• Conduct site investigations for estimating and validate estimation assumptions.
• Create a CAPEX database for each brand, categorized by location and country.
• Perform functional supervisory duties: task planning and assignment, deadline setting, monitoring of results and quality, training and communicating team requests to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
• Two to four years of experience in a similar role.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Project scheduling software such as MS Project or other tools.
• AutoCAD.
